As Consul General of Israel in New York, Ambassador Dayan represents the State of Israel to communities throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Delaware. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1955, he is the first Hispanic Consul General of Israel in New York.

 

Amb. Dayan has established a reputation as an Israeli public figure, lecturer and entrepreneur. He served as Chairman of the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria and as the Council’s Chief Foreign Envoy. In these roles, Amb. Dayan opened doors to the major seats of government worldwide and conducted regular meetings with foreign diplomats and journalists.

Liz Michaels is Aperio’s Chief of Staff and Director of ESG/SRI. Prior to joining Aperio, Liz was responsible for the $11 billion defined contribution managed accounts business at Ibbotson Associates, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. Earlier in her career, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Morningstar, Inc. and served on the company's executive committee. Liz was also the President of Jellyvision, Inc., an interactive firm best known for its game, You Don't Know Jack™, and Associate Dean/Director of the Career Advising and Planning Services office at the University of Chicago.

Inon Elroy was appointed Economic Minister to North America in August 2016. Mr. Elroy has more than 18 years of experience representing the Ministry of Economy and Industry in a wide range of executive positions both in Israel and overseas. As Vice Director General of the Ministry from 2012 to 2016, he was tasked with overseeing industrial policy (promoting domestic production and innovation), trade regulations (liberalization of imports, anti-dumping and standardization), and regional economic planning. In addition, he supervised the Ministry’s digital strategy and initiated policies to foster innovation synergies between the public and private sectors.

Jason Gewirtz is an Executive Producer at CNBC. He currently produces "Halftime Report" and contributes to CNBC's long-form programming. He was the Senior Producer and developer of the documentary "Beyond the Barrel: The Race to Fuel the Future." Gewirtz is an experienced field producer and has covered business news in the Middle East and Israel extensively for the network. Gewirtz is the author of "Israel's Edge: The Story of the IDF's Most Elite Unit — Talpiot"

Jefferies has been focused on serving clients for over 50 years and has been active in the Israeli market for more than 20 years. Netanel is responsible for establishing and implementing Jefferies’ strategy in Israel across products and regions. Netanel is a native Israeli, Dual-citizen and visits Israel frequently.​

Harry Heyer is a research analyst and investor at Unterberg Capital, a tech-focused hedge fund with an

emphasis on small and mid-cap equities. Prior to joining Unterberg Capital, Mr. Heyer worked in Equity

Research at Credit Suisse and later Barclays. Mr. Heyer received his B.S. in Economics at the Wharton

School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Alon Ozer is the Chief Investment Officer for The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation where he is in charge of managing the endowment assets. Prior to this position, he worked in Israel for Gaon Investment House, one of Israel’s largest investment houses, managing the firm’s foreign securities trading desk. Alon also previously worked at an Israeli software company designing trading and risk management systems for use in the Israeli and US markets. He also helped establish Israel’s first online securities trading company, where he worked as the head trader. 

As Director of Investor Relations at Israel’s Ministry of Finance office in NY, Jason builds and maintains relationships with sovereign debt institutional investors. 
 

Formerly, he worked in the private sector for five years. Jason has also served as Deputy Director, Global Debt Capital Markets, for the ministry.
